The Creative Process
Begin with Stone
Select 4-5 porous crystals or lava stones — the foundation of your creation. These are your diffusing base, their porous surface absorbing essential oils and releasing aroma slowly over time.
Shape the Composition
Arrange them upon your plate as you would objects on a canvas. Let weight, texture, and geometry guide the hand.
Layer with Botanicals
Introduce pine needles, citrus slices, cinnamon bark, seed pods, or roses. Think of them as brushstrokes — accents of color, rhythm, and movement.
Gesture of Completion
When satisfied, pass your composition to the host. It will be gathered, tied, and returned as your creation — a table centrepiece to display and perfume at home.
